Landscaper

Job Purpose:
Off-site landscaping work at various area locations, and occasional on-site plant care and site maintenance at nursery

Duties:
- Daily communication with supervisor to understand tasks
- Landscaping projects include planting shrubs, perennials, and trees as well as hardscaping such as brick edgings, retaining walls, etc.
- Maintain equipment by performing preventive maintenance and making repairs when needed

- Plant maintenance includes trimming, weeding, fertilizing, re-potting, etc.

- Occasional maintenance of nursery grounds

Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions
- Desire to work with plants
- Strong work ethic and focus
- Attention to detail
- Dependability
- Effective in teamwork and solo work environments
- Ability to operate heavy machinery is a plus, but not mandatory

Plant Caretaker & Sales Staff

Job Purpose:

On-site plant care and site maintenance at nursery and salesperson

Duties:
- Daily communication with supervisor to understand tasks
- Plant maintenance includes trimming, weeding, fertilizing, re-potting, etc.
- Occasional maintenance of nursery grounds
- Customer assistance as needed (plant knowledge not necessary, but is a plus, and must be willing to learn)

- Learn our inventory and be able to speak knowledgeably to customers about plants

- Ability to work in outdoor conditions
- Desire to work with plants and people
- Strong work ethic and focus
- Attention to detail
- Dependability
- Effective in teamwork and solo work environments
